The national key science and technology project led by Jincheng successfully passed performance evaluation and project acceptance

On January 16, 2023, led by Suzhou Jincheng Precision Casting Co., Ltd. and undertaken by nine domestic universities and one research institute, the national key research and development plan manufacturing basic technology and key component key special project "Semi solid Rheological Casting Technology for Aluminum Alloy Thin walled Parts (Application Demonstration Class)" successfully passed performance evaluation and project acceptance.

Jincheng National Key Scientific Research Project Successfully Passed the Project Acceptance

The acceptance review expert group conducted a comprehensive assessment and acceptance from the perspectives of project indicators completion, performance evaluation, achievement benefits, and project management. They unanimously agreed that the project has achieved fruitful results and significant significance, with good prospects for application and promotion.


The national key research and development projects have achieved the following results:

1. A new type of aluminum silicon alloy suitable for semi solid rheological forming has been developed, and its semi solid rheological die-casting performance after heat treatment is σ 0.2 ≥ 200MPa, σ B ≥ 300MPa, δ≥ 8%, thermal conductivity ≥ 170W/(m • K).

2. We have developed an efficient and high-quality vibration shear coupled semi-solid pulping technology.

3. We have developed a simulation optimization and design system for large-scale thin-walled aluminum alloy die-casting parts, which can meet the current requirements for mold development of thin-walled aluminum alloy parts.

4. We have developed a complete set of production processes and enterprise standards for high-performance aluminum alloy rheological die-casting and rheological extrusion casting, achieving large-scale production of 5G communication filters, energy storage boxes, inverters, etc., supporting the development of industries such as communication, photovoltaic, and new energy vehicles.

5. We have built 1600T and 4000T semi solid rheological die-casting demonstration production lines and 350T semi solid extrusion casting demonstration production lines.

6. Published 2 papers, authorized 3 national invention patents, and applied for 3 national invention patents.

7. We have trained a large number of engineering and technical personnel and formed a professional technical team.

In the future, Jincheng will further drive innovation, strengthen investment in technological research and development, strive for excellence, achieve more innovative results in research and application fields, actively fulfill social responsibilities, strive to achieve independent and controllable key core technologies, and make greater contributions to promoting the technological development of new materials and processes for die casting in China
